This policy describes how McCullough Clark ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services. We are a bookkeeping and advisory firm, and we treat client information with the same care we bring to client books.

We collect information you provide to us directly, including your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number when you contact us or become a client. As part of bookkeeping services, clients also share financial records and supporting documents needed to perform the work.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide bookkeeping and advisory services, to communicate with you about your account, to send service notifications you have requested, and to meet legal and professional obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Text messaging

Clients may choose to receive account-related text messages, such as monthly review reminders and document requests. We only send texts to clients who have provided their mobile number and consented to receive them. Consent is not a condition of receiving our services.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the vendors that deliver messages on our behalf. Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as secure hosting, email, and message delivery vendors, and only as needed to provide our services, or when required by law.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, and we retain it only as long as needed to provide services and meet recordkeeping requirements that apply to accounting work.
